The All Soul’s Parish Picnic
SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2008
4:00 PM UNTIL 7:00 PM
GROVE 6, ROCK CREEK PARK

Come yourself.  Bring a friend. Bring your Children. Give a ride to another Church member.

Invite your church group, foyer group, choir members, newcomers.

Bring a Covered Dish, Desert, Beverages, if you can, for 5 to 10.

We will have music, games and sports equipment.

The park includes an open field, picnic tables, picnic shelter, bathrooms, a creek.

Come for the entire time or drop in for a little while.

(In case of bad weather, the picnic will be in the Undercroft at church.)

DIRECTIONS

(estimated driving time- 15 minutes)

Up Connecticut Ave. from church for about 2 ½ miles.
*Turn Right at the light onto Nebraska Ave.
Go about 6 blocks/ .5 miles.
*Turn Right (diagonally) onto Military Rd.
Go down Military Rd. for about 1 mile.
You will pass St. Johns High School on left and
You will see Rock Creek Park signs on the right.
Continue down the hill and before you get to the bridge,
*Turn Right onto Beach Dr./Ross Dr. Carter Baron, exit.
(you will see the signs indicating the turn)
Go straight ahead .1 mile to Beach Dr. Intersection.
(Police HQ is to right)
*Turn Left onto Beach Drive past the road barrier-its OK
Drive .1 mile to first grove, Grove 6, and
*Turn left at 2nd entrance into the parking lot.
You have arrived.
