Though dinners don't actually happen in anyone's "foyer," it's a good name to describe the small dinners that really allow us to get to know one another.
Each year people sign up to be a part of the dinner program. Kathleen Scholl and Butch Bradburn then organize the list into smaller groups. People have agreed to be Foyer Group Captains, which means that they agree to host or at least to coordinate the dinners for their group. Each foyer dinner group commits to having at least four dinners a year, though many much more frequently. These dinners happen in homes, in apartments, in restaurants, and even at the beach.
