Adopt-An-Apartment Program
All Souls participates in the Transitional Housing Corporation's Adopt-An-Apartment program. At least once every two years we provide complete furnishings for an apartment for a homeless family. Each family lives in the THC apartment building for two years and then keeps the furnishings when they move into their own new housing.
Christ House
Volunteers supply food and cook dinner for 40 to 50 homeless men in Adams Morgan on the first Wednesday and second Monday of each month. Breakfast is provided on Wednesday.
Christmas Giving Tree
Parishioners are given the names and Christmas wishes of children from needy families at the Community of Hope. In a typical year All Souls provides over 100 gifts for this great project.
Episcopal Center for Children
The Center helps emotionally troubled children gain the hope and confidence needed for a productive life. All parish women are eligible to become members of the Women's Auxiliary Board to help raise funds to support the Center. In May of each year we provide cookie donations to the center and throughout the year we collect Campbell's labels which the Center can redeem for books, games and sports items for children.
