BSA Troop 248 for Girls

Scouts BSA Troop 248 for Girls meets on the first and third Saturday mornings of each month from 10:00 AM to Noon at All Souls Episcopal Church, 2300 Cathedral Ave. NW, Washington, DC. This is located just off Connecticut Avenue between the Woodley Park Metro Station and The National Zoo.

For our regular meetings, you should arrive just before 10:00 AM and enter the door of the church that is near the parking lot. When the weather is nice we might have some of the doors open down in the patio area, which is also next to the parking lot. When our meetings are over we exit from these same doors. We always begin and end the meetings right on-time. Always try to be on time, but don’t worry if something makes you late or you need to leave early – we want you to come no matter what!

Your parents do not normally attend our regular meetings but are welcome to observe at any time. If they do not want to go home during the meeting, they can park their car in the All Souls parking lot and spend time at one of the Coffee shops or other businesses that are nearby. All Souls has wifi available.

Always try to attend the Saturday meetings. We do a lot of fun stuff like learn about the outdoors, citizenship and physical fitness. Our Scoutmaster and the Assistant Scoutmasters (the people who wear the Smokey-the-Bear hats) always have cool Scouting skills to teach us. And, all of the girls in your Patrol and the entire Troop want to see you!

Always wear your dress Scout Uniform to all Troop meetings. That is the one with the tan shirt and forest green pants.
